I grew up in New Jersey and received my license there. In 1989, my license suspended because of violations of traffic. I was in the Army, stationed abroad and especially in the south. He had a driver's license in Virginia, the rest of my time in the Navy. Has recently moved to California and a license was denied because of suspension. I called the DMV in New Jersey and was told to pay the fine for each ticket, plus fines and penalties by the DMV. Unfortunately, I am a pensioner and the disabled. I too am on a fixed income and can not afford the $ 4000.00 U.S. dollars more than what is necessary to pay for it. Who knows what I can do about it short of just giving up and not drive for the rest of my life?
